Attended Prenuer's SEO blitz session at the WIX lounge this week and I have to say it was a refreshing reminder to stay on top of your website's SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Katie Hellmuth Martin and I worked closely together when I first started Di Manno Designs and she taught me a number of tools to use to keep up with increasing SEO, getting ideas to increase it with my website and even taught me how to write a blog post! She is a graphic guru who has done a number of websites through her company, Studio Pixlelated and is extremely knowledgeable and a patient teacher for those of us who are technologically inept (LOL) if any of you are looking for information on this topic!
She taught the class this week and went over key topics to stay on top of your SEO which included:
Check Google Analytics to see what key words your website is attracting.
Google Webmaster, Google Analytics and Stat Counter can help you with this and are free.
Search the "one hit wonders" in your keyword search, usually towards the bottom and may be worthwhile to write a blog post on what is being most searched to link people back to your site.
Titles to blog posts are important in getting traction to the article and site.
